Job summary

Kolay is a leading cloud-based HR management platform hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer. You will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications, collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver value to thousands of users.

You will lead by example, review code, and guide best practices while staying current with the latest technologies and trends to advance the product and the team. Flexible hours and remote work options are provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (React/Angular/Vue.js).
• Strong back-end experience with Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, or Java.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and web protocols.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable, maintainable solutions across the stack (front-end, back-end, database).
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and best-practice guidance.

About the Role

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, robust, and user-friendly web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver solutions that meet business goals and delight our users.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and Develop: Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions across the stack (front-end, back-end, and database).
• Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide guidance on best practices.
• Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Innovate: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and frameworks, identifying opportunities to integrate them into our projects.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
• Testing and Debugging: Write automated tests and debug issues to ensure a reliable product experience.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• Proven experience (5+ years) in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong back-end expertise with languages like Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, or Java.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with TypeScript and modern CSS frameworks.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.
