Job summary

Atos is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack Developer) to join an international team working on the SIMPL Programme, focusing on secure, modular data spaces and cloud-to-edge solutions. You will work hands-on across frontend and backend, building scalable applications, APIs and integrations with Architects, Product Owners, BAs, Test Engineers and DevOps.

Responsibilities include designing and building backend services in Java 21/Spring, frontend with React/TypeScript, REST APIs,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including hands-on full-stack development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain backend services using Java 21, Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Develop modern frontend applications using React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Design, develop and maintain REST APIs and platform integrations.
• Build and support event-driven integrations using Apache Kafka.
• Develop and optimize application interactions with relational databases.
• Ensure high code quality through automated testing, peer reviews, JUnit, SonarQube and secure coding practices.
• Identify and address security findings and vulnerabilities, including those identified through Fortify and other security scans.
• Build and package applications using Maven and support deployment and operational activities in Tomcat-based environments, Argo and Rancher.
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues using logs, monitoring tools and Elasticsearch.
• Maintain code, configuration and technical documentation using Git, Jira and Confluence.
• Contribute to engineering best practices and continuous improvement across the programme.
