Job summary

Complyance is seeking a senior full-stack engineer with a strong backend focus to join our AI-native GRC platform.

You will design and implement TypeScript services, work with PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and modern tooling, and ship features end-to-end. The role involves building reliable backend jobs, integrating with external services, and collaborating with design to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong background in backend with a product mindset.
• Experience building TypeScript services and APIs.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own product capabilities from design through release.
• Design and build backend services using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Model data in PostgreSQL and build secure GraphQL/REST APIs.
• Understand DevOps, CI/CD, and tradeoffs; turn requirements into plans.
• Develop reliable background jobs and long-running workflows.
• Integrate with third-party services via APIs and webhooks.
• Protect data with proper authorization and tenant isolation.
• Collaborate with Product Design to translate problems into technical solutions.
• Investigate production issues using logs and metrics.
• Write tests, review code, and improve monorepo maintainability.
