Job summary

Softeta, a Vilnius-based IT solutions provider with teams in Lithuania and Poland, seeks a Senior Frontend Engineer to build secure, reliable banking applications. You will work on high-performing web apps, collaborate with product, UX/UI, backend engineers, and QA to deliver quality releases.

You will use React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript to design scalable frontend solutions, ensure accessibility, and implement comprehensive tests with Jest, RTL, or Playwright.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience building responsive and accessible web apps.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, authentication, state management, and asynchronous data flows.
• Practical experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Playwright.
• Strong communication skills, a structured approach to problem-solving, and good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performing web applications for the banking sector.
• Design scalable frontend solutions using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
• Integrate frontend applications with secure REST APIs and backend services.
• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and QA specialists.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure reliable releases.
• Investigate and resolve performance, usability, compatibility, and production issues
