Woodward, Inc. in Poland is seeking a FPGA Software Engineer for its Aerospace Electronics team to develop and test FPGA modules for engine controllers and avionics devices.

You will design FPGA-based software solutions and collaborate with system, hardware/software development and platform engineers in international teams. The role requires a BSc/MSc in electronics or related field, 4+ years of FPGA/software experience, VHDL/Verilog, and familiarity with Xilinx Vivado, Intel/Altera Cyclone V,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics, software development or related field.
• At least four years of relevant FPGA/software experience.
• Experience with VHDL and/or Verilog for FPGA design, simulation, and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and derive suitable FPGA/software solutions.
• Design and debug software on device and device communication.
• Create FPGA-based SW solutions for aerospace controls and drivers.
• Support software architecture design and interface with cross-functional teams.
• Develop tests, verification and debug of VHDL IP cores and modules.
