Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Flutter Engineer to advance Flutter's Android embedding with multi-view and windowing across Android, desktop, and XR environments.

You will work in a hybrid setup (Kraków, Wrocław, or Gdańsk) and collaborate with engineers and the open-source community to evolve Flutter’s architecture. The role requires deep Flutter internals experience, Android expertise, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Flutter internals and engine-level development.
• Deep understanding of Android platform architecture, lifecycle, and native APIs.
• Experience implementing multi-window or multi-instance features on Android.
• Proficiency in performance profiling, debugging, and rendering optimizations in Flutter apps.

Responsibilities

• Implement multi-view and windowing support in Flutter’s Android embedding layer.
• Extend the platform to handle multiple simultaneous views across devices and environments.
• Collaborate with Flutter engine maintainers and Google’s open-source community.
• Ensure stable integration across Flutter engine components and plugins.
• Conduct rigorous testing and performance optimization for new windowing functionality.
