Job summary

Mamo is seeking a Senior Flutter Developer who is passionate about building best-in-class FinTech apps. You will own the mobile architecture and work with a tightly-knit team to deliver secure, scalable experiences for payments.

You will lead end-to-end development for iOS and Android, implement robust components, and continuously improve performance and observability while staying current with Flutter and AI-assisted productivity tools.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of mobile development experience including 3 years with Flutter and Dart.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development and release for our iOS and Android mobile apps.
• Design and implement robust modular components for our mobile app.
• Optimize app performance, scalability, and usability for exceptional user experiences.
• Architect a scalable, secure and efficient codebase.
• Troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure reliability.
• Establish automated testing infrastructure with comprehensive coverage.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other engineers to create value for users.
• Identify ways to improve our logging, monitoring, and APM to improve overall observability and performance.
• Define and implement mobile engineering best practices.
• Stay current with mobile and flutter technologies and adopting relevant advancements.
• Implement secure authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT, Firebase).
• Ensure a smooth user experience through efficient data handling and error management.
• Optimize API requests for minimal latency and bandwidth usage on mobile devices.

What we’re looking for

• 6+ years of mobile development experience including 3 years with Flutter and Dart.
• Proven track record in developing and scaling mobile applications.
• A deep technical understanding of the Flutter ecosystem and state management techniques.
• Proficiency in reactive programming, data binding and navigation frameworks.
• Expertise in implementing testing frameworks including E2E testing tools like Appium, Patrol or Maestro.
• Ability to balance rapid feature delivery with high-quality releases.
• Skilled in custom widgets development and push notifications setup.
• Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines and app release processes.
• Experience building and maintaining packages and federated plugins.
• Ability to optimize app size while managing increasing complexity.
• Familiar with various monitoring tools.
• The capability of leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and output quality.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments, autonomously, with little supervision.
