Job summary

Softeq is seeking a Senior Flash SSD Firmware Engineer to join our embedded systems team. You will develop low-level firmware for NAND flash controllers, SSDs, UFS/eMMC devices, and storage subsystems with a focus on reliability, performance, and power efficiency.

You'll collaborate with hardware, software, and test teams to implement FTL solutions, ECC, and robust testing frameworks, while ensuring high-quality firmware across next-generation flash devices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing low-level firmware for NAND flash controllers, SSDs, UFS/eMMC devices, and storage subsystems.
• Strong expertise in FTL, NAND drivers, ECC, and performance optimization.
• Experience with bare-metal/RTOS firmware development in industrial electronics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-performance, reliable storage firmware for next-generation flash devices.
