Job summary

Solidigm seeks a Security Firmware Engineer to join its Data Center Engineering Team. You will develop, review, and maintain firmware in C/C++/Rust for SSDs, work with NVMe/PCIe interfaces, and collaborate with hardware and ASIC teams in an Agile environment.

You will perform unit and system testing, design low-level firmware architectures, and help ensure product quality across the SSD stack. Strong communication and leadership skills are valued as you coordinate with stakeholders to meet

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or a related field.
8+ years of experience in embedded software/firmware development with C/C++/Rust.
Embedded firmware development in RTOS environments with hardware/software interaction.
Experience with development tools including compilers, debuggers, emulators, and toolchains.

Responsibilities

Develop, review, document, and maintain product source code in C/C++/Rust.
Analyze and develop firmware per internal and external specifications.
Perform unit and system level testing including failure analysis and debugging.
Develop low-level firmware and architectures in partnership with hardware/ASIC teams.
Coordinate priorities with other engineering stakeholders to meet milestones.
