Job summary

Siemens Energy in Poland seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join a global finance team reporting to the Head of Performance Controlling. You will drive monthly actuals, forecasts, and budgets across SG&A and Central Items, consolidating data from all sites and delivering executive summaries.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, digitalization of reporting workflows using LEAN methods, and presenting insights to senior leadership to enable informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA/CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting within a global enterprise.
• Strong background in financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and controlling with accounting principles.
• Experience in a matrixed/multinational environment; knowledge of commercial projects is a plus.
• Strategic thinker with proactive problem-solving and strong communication; able to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly actuals, forecast and annual budget processes across sites with SG&A and Central Items focus.
• Improve forecast accuracy by partnering with functions and recommending action plans.
• Translate financial data into clear insights and ensure the story matches the figures.
• Define, track and analyze KPIs to support performance and strategic goals.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly executive presentations on STG performance with a compelling narrative.
• Conduct high-visibility ad-hoc analyses and support special projects.
• Champion digitalization and lean improvements in reporting workflows.
