Job summary

EcoVadis is currently seeking an Engineering Leader to take ownership of a high-impact product domain. You will act as a strategic partner to Product Leadership, co-owning the roadmap, delivery, and business success of the product.

You will lead a large, cross-functional team (approx. 20 diverse engineering talents), driving the engineering vision for a core customer experience. This position requires a leader who combines deep technical expertise in B2B SaaS with a strong product mindset.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, with significant leadership experience managing large teams.
• Deep technical expertise in building complex B2B SaaS enterprise solutions.
• Strong knowledge of modern web application development and cloud platforms (Azure advantageous).
• Product Mindset: experience in dual leadership with Product + Tech.
• Proven track record delivering strategic value, not just maintaining legacy systems.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1/C2) with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Self-driven and collaborative, thrives in international, fast-growing environments.
• Experience working in multicultural teams in a fast-growing company.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision and roadmap with Product Leadership to align with business goals.
• Lead and grow a cross-functional team (~20 engineers and specialists) fostering craftsmanship.
• Drive velocity and reduce friction on complex, high-impact initiatives.
• Provide deep technical direction and guide architectural decisions for scalable B2B SaaS.
• Coordinate across engineering, product, and design to align priorities and delivery.
• Oversee quality and manage technical debt while delivering new features.
• Develop staffing plans and grow senior talent within the team.
