Job summary

GlobalLogic Poland is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our embedded software testing team. You will design, implement, and execute automated tests for control boards used in household appliances, focusing on Pytest-based functional testing and test scripts.

You will collaborate with clients, maintain test specifications, report defects, and contribute to continuous quality improvements across the release cycle.

Qualifications

4+ years of commercial software testing experience.
Experience with test plans, test designs, test cases, test scripts, and bug reports.
Experience in test automation.
Good knowledge of Python and Pytest.
Experience in embedded software testing.
In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and tools.
Good analytical skills.
Proactive attitude towards change.
Ability to take responsibility for task execution and ensure high-quality results.
Effective communication skills and progress reporting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and execute automated tests.
Develop and maintain test specifications, test cases, test scripts, and test results.
Track and report software defects using a bug-tracking tool.
Perform retests and regression testing.
Develop requirements.
Work closely with the client.
