GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to drive automated testing for embedded software on control boards used in household appliances. The role focuses on Pytest, Python, and automated functional testing across hardware and software layers.

You will develop test plans, scripts, and results, collaborate with clients, and contribute to Continuous Improvement and quality assurance. The position offers remote work with diverse global projects and opportunities for growth

Qualificações

• 3+ years of commercial experience in software testing
• Strong knowledge of Python and Pytest
• Experience with testing artifacts: test plan, test design, test case, test script, bug report
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodology and tools
• Experience in test automation
• English proficiency at least B2
• Strong analytical skills
• Proactive and adaptable to change
• Ability to take responsibility for tasks and quality
• Effective communication for task realization and progress reporting
• Ability to search, gather and process data for task realization

The project covers the automated functional software testing process on the component test level for control boards of washers, dryers, and washdryers produced and developed by the leader in the household appliances industry.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant commercial experience in Software Testing
• Good knowledge of Python and Pytest
• Practical experience with testing artifacts: test plan, test design, test case, test script, bug report
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodology and tools
• Experience in test automation
• Minimum B2 level knowledge of English
• Good analytical skills
• Proactiveness and positive attitude towards changes
• Ability to take responsibility for the tasks realization and high-quality assurance
• Effective communication skills (related to both task realization and progress reporting)
• Ability to search, gather and process data and information needed for task realization

Job responsibilities
