Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to drive automated testing for embedded software on control boards used in household appliances. The role focuses on Pytest, Python, and automated functional testing across hardware and software layers.

You will develop test plans, scripts, and results, collaborate with clients, and contribute to Continuous Improvement and quality assurance. The position offers remote work with diverse global projects and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial experience in software testing
Strong knowledge of Python and Pytest
Experience with testing artifacts: test plan, test design, test case, test script, bug report
In-depth knowledge of QA methodology and tools
Experience in test automation
English proficiency at least B2
Strong analytical skills
Proactive and adaptable to change
Ability to take responsibility for tasks and quality
Effective communication for task realization and progress reporting
Ability to search, gather and process data for task realization

Responsibilities

Perform automated test preparation and execution
Develop and maintain test specification, test cases, test scripts and test results
Track and report software errors to bug tracker tool
Perform retests and regression tests
Prepare documentation
Collaborate closely with the client
