Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Embedded Test Engineer to drive testing for an advanced ovens project. You will blend hands-on testing with test leadership, shaping the testing approach, coordinating activities, and ensuring embedded software quality throughout development.

This role suits someone who enjoys both technical testing and owning the bigger picture. Strong candidates will have embedded testing experience, Python/Pytest skills, Scrum experience, and knowledge of test management tools.

Job description

We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior Embedded Test Engineer to join our team and contribute to an exciting project focused on the development of modern ovens.

In this role, you’ll combine hands‑on testing with test management responsibilities, helping shape the testing approach, coordinate activities, and ensure the quality of the embedded software throughout the development process.

It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both the technical side of testing and taking ownership of the bigger picture.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Experience with testing embedded electronic
• Experience with Python test case development & debugging / Pytest
• Experience with Scrum process

Knowledge of test management

Expertise in testing methodologies

Knowledge of test management tools (e.g. Jira, git, Confluence)

Knowledge of CI/CD tools

Nice to have:

Experience with RTOS (like Zephyr) is a plus

Experience with Linux development environments is a plus
