Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Middle+/Senior DevOps Engineer for Embedded Systems to optimize and extend an automotive solution for European OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. You will build and automate end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, focusing on cutting-edge vehicle software architectures, connectivity, and machine learning integration.

The role emphasizes hands-on Azure/Gerrit-based infrastructure, IaC practices, and collaboration across software and systems teams to deliver high-quality automotive software

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of IaC, PaaS/IaaS concepts.
• Experience with automated build/test pipelines in embedded/automotive contexts.
• Familiarity with Gerrit for code review and ISO26262 awareness is a plus.

GlobalLogic’s Automotive department is excited to invite applications for the position of Middle+/Senior DevOps Engineer.

The goal of our project is to optimize and enhance our Automotive Solution with new features. Our clients include Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs from Europe and the USA, and our development efforts focus on automotive solutions that will be integrated into the latest car models. In this project, we are developing a cutting-edge computer-in-the-car architecture, which is crucial for driving innovation in areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning, and autonomous driving.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Azure (preferably) or AWS
• Strong knowledge of concepts: Infrastructure-as-Code way-of-working, PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service), IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service)
• Network configuration and management in dynamic environments (TCPIP stack)(middle level enough)
• Scripting (basic level): PowerShell, Bash, Apache Groovy, Python
• Experience with Gerrit
• Technical engineering degree (Preferably in the domain of software or systems engineering);
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming Principles
• Strong communication, multitasking, problem-solving and planning skills.

Would be a plus:

• Experience in embedded(automotive) development
• Know the basics of automotive (or similar) functional safety standards (ISO26262)
• Know the basics of any industry standard that provides a framework for defining, implementing, and evaluating the process required for system development (in automotive – ASPICE)
• C Programming

• MIL, HIL testing.

Job responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software integration and test infrastructure, including build systems, continuous integration (CI), and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines
• Create and configure end-to-end software build and deployment pipelines
• Automate build and deployment pipelines
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools for embedded software testing
• Work with the IT department to provision needed infrastructure or do it ourselves
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and ready to work in collaboration with developer teams
• Participation in the requirements gathering for CI tasks
• Development of solutions to enable a stable and high-performing automation framework, including work with the infrastructure, with Zuul/Jenkins, and parts of the build system.
• Development of an ISO 26262-qualified toolchain and development environment for the flow from Matlab/Simulink to binary
