Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Senior Embedded Tests Developer for the Automation & Communication product group in Grid Automation, Kraków. You will contribute to the development and testing of IEC61850-based components and ensure they integrate with Hitachi Energy solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in build/test automation for embedded DUTs, strong C/C++, Python, and embedded Linux skills, plus excellent English and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in build and test automation with embedded DUTs (GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• 3+ years of coding in an object oriented language, preferably C#, C++, and Python.
• 3+ years of experience with embedded Linux and Embedded C.
• Experience with international standards such as IEC and IEEE.
• Ability to cooperate in international and multicultural environments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill the needs and requirements of different Hitachi Energy products.
• Take part in the development of IEC61850-based components.
• Actively contribute to the integration of developed components into Hitachi Energy solutions.
• Actively test and maintain versions of delivered components.
