Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Senior Embedded Tests Developer for the Automation & Communication product group in Grid Automation, Kraków. You will contribute to the development and testing of IEC61850-based components and ensure they integrate with Hitachi Energy solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in build/test automation for embedded DUTs, strong C/C++, Python, and embedded Linux skills, plus excellent English and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in build and test automation with embedded DUTs (GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• 3+ years of coding in an object oriented language, preferably C#, C++, and Python.
• 3+ years of experience with embedded Linux and Embedded C.
• Experience with international standards such as IEC and IEEE.
• Ability to cooperate in international and multicultural environments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Your Background

• 5+ years of experience working with build and test automation with embedded DUTs (GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins), preferably with Azure DevOps;;
• 3+ years of experience with an objective oriented programming language, preferably with C#, C++, and Python;
• 3+ years of experience working with (embedded) Linux & Embedded C;
• Experience of working with international standards, like IEC, IEEE;
• Ability to co-operate in international and multi-cultural environment
• Excellent communicator, ability to understand other views and opinions, good negotiation skills
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
