Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a skilled test automation engineer to ensure the reliability of programmable Ethernet switch software. You will design automated test suites, build Python testing frameworks, and run regression and performance tests on hardware platforms within the Embedded Competence Center.

This role involves collaboration with developers and cross-functional teams across projects in automotive, IoT, telecoms, and medical sectors.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of commercial testing experience.
• Strong Python-based test automation experience.
• Familiar with networking automation frameworks and Linux environments.
• Hands-on testing of physical and virtual L2/L3 switches and routers.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Self-driven, analytical, and collaborative.
• Proficient English (spoken and written).
• Residing in Poland

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test suites for switch software and firmware.
• Develop Python-based testing frameworks for functional and performance testing.
• Perform regression, stress, and system-level testing on hardware platforms.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and verify fixes.
