Job summary

Sii Poland’s Embedded Competence Center seeks a seasoned test engineer to design and implement automated test suites for switch software and firmware, focusing on reliability and performance of programmable Ethernet switches.

You will develop Python-based testing frameworks, conduct regression and stress tests on hardware platforms, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with developers across automotive, IoT, telecoms and medical projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in a similar position.
• Strong experience in Python-based test automation.
• Familiarity with networking automation frameworks and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience testing physical and virtual L2/L3 switches and routers.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test suites for switch software and firmware.
• Develop Python-based testing frameworks for functional and performance testing.
• Perform regression, stress, and system-level testing on hardware platforms.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with developers to identify, reproduce, and verify fixes for software defects.
