Job summary

The Embedded Competence Center at Sii Poland in Katowice seeks a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design and implement automation frameworks for Ethernet switch software. You will validate hardware and software, build Python-based test suites, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with developers to reproduce and verify fixes.

Requirements include 5+ years in a similar role, strong Python test automation, Linux networking environments, and experience testing L2/L3

Qualifications

5+ years of commercial experience in a similar position.
Proven Python-based test automation skills.
Experience with networking automation frameworks and Linux environments.
Hands-on testing of physical and virtual L2/L3 switches and routers.

Responsibilities

Design and implement automated test suites for switch software and firmware.
Develop Python-based testing frameworks for functional and performance testing.
Perform regression, stress, and system-level testing on hardware platforms.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Work with developers to identify, reproduce, and verify fixes for software defects.
