Job summary

Accenture Poland invites you to join a team developing embedded security architectures for MCU firmware and HSMs. You will design, implement and verify security features using modern C++, with strong collaboration across internal teams and client projects.

The role covers architecture reviews, code and test reviews, and advancing software quality through rigorous engineering practices, in a flexible work setup with onsite and remote opportunities.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of modern C++ for embedded firmware and driver development.
• Advanced knowledge of embedded security concepts, including key storage and secure boot.
• Understanding of RTOS and embedded operating system concepts with debugging tools.
• Experience with unit testing using gtest and gmock.
• Ability to contribute to technical architecture discussions and review requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of MCU firmware, security components and HSMs, while developing embedded security expertise.
• Design, implement and maintain complex security features (SecOC, Secure Boot) using modern C++, with tests and documentation.
• Collaborate on architecture with internal teams and customers; engage in technical discussions to refine solutions.
• Review and approve requirements, architecture and technical designs across the development lifecycle.

THE WORK

• Own the architecture of MCU firmware, security components and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), while continuously developing your expertise in embedded security architecture.
• Design, implement and maintain complex security features, including SecOC and Secure Boot, using modern C++, with appropriate tests and documentation.
• Collaborate on architecture with internal teams and customers, using technical discussions as opportunities to exchange knowledge and refine solutions.
• Review and approve requirements, architecture and technical designs, applying your expertise across the development lifecycle.
• Review code, tests and documentation, contributing to continuous improvement of software quality and engineering practices.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office – depending on specific project circumstances. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Advanced knowledge of modern C++ for embedded firmware and driver development, together with experience working with MCU architectures.
• Advanced knowledge of embedded security concepts, including key storage, certificate handling, secure communication and secure boot.
• Understanding of RTOS and embedded operating system concepts, combined with experience using debugging tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers.
• Experience with gtest and gmock for C++ unit testing.
• Ability to contribute to technical architecture discussions and review requirements, architecture, design, code, tests and documentation.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Knowledge of TriCore, ARM and POSIX, as well as AUTOSAR and functional safety.
• Experience with MISRA, CERT or other static code analysis standards.
• Experience with Python and PyTest.
