Job summary
Ericsson GmbH in Kraków is seeking a skilled L1 developer to strengthen our 5G baseband software team. You will contribute to L1 SW in the baseband unit, focusing on signal processing in UL receivers, writing clean, optimized, multi-threaded code for a multi-core environment.
Candidates should have strong C programming skills, experience with embedded software, and familiarity with Python, C++, Erlang or Matlab.
Qualifications
- BSc level (MSc preferred) in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge.
- Knowledge in embedded software development.
- C programming skills and experience.
- Assembler experience is a plus.
- Experience in Python, C++, Erlang, Matlab is a plus.
- Multi-core processor programming is a plus.
- Real time embedded systems knowledge is a plus.
- Signal processing knowledge is a plus.
- English skills
Responsibilities
- Develop 5G baseband architecture, functionality, and features, with special focus on signal processing functions in the UL receivers.
- Write inventive, high quality, clean, optimized and threaded code in a multi-core environment.
- Maintain and improve the quality of the L1 part of the Baseband product.
- Perform trouble shooting and customer support.
- Drive continuous improvements of products and processes.
- Join early phase studies, to transform requirements into L1 implementation.
