Job summary

Be | Shaping the Future Poland is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead DWDM and optical transport initiatives. You will coordinate Network Engineers, oversee Adva FSP 3000/150 deployments, and ensure reliable RUN environment operations.

You will drive incident leadership, change and release processes, and collaborate with nearshore teams. Knowledge of ACP certification and automation tools like Ansible/Python is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Adva Certified Professional (ACP) or equivalent.
• Strong DWDM and optical transport experience.
• Hands-on with Adva FSP 3000 and/or FSP 150 platforms.
• Knowledge of wavelength provisioning and optical power budgets.
• Experience leading teams, mentoring nearshore teams.
• ITIL knowledge and experience (preferred).
• Experience with network automation tools like Ansible and Python (preferred).
• German language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership and coordination of Network Engineers within the DWDM service.
• Network planning, design, and architecture.
• Installation and configuration of network components.
• Network performance optimization.
• Configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Adva FSP 3000 and FSP 150 optical transport systems.
• Wavelength provisioning and optical circuit management.
• Monitoring and management of optical power budgets and fiber infrastructure.
• Quality assurance of network configurations and adherence to client processes.
• Leadership for Major Incidents with 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Management of Change, Release, Incident, and Problem processes.
• Event, Availability, Capacity, Vulnerability, and CMDB Management.
