Job summary

Softeta is seeking an on-premises DevOps Engineer for a client in the e-commerce sector. You will build scalable infrastructure with IaC, manage 60PB+ monthly data traffic, and implement monitoring for infrastructure and business metrics.

You will own architectural decisions, contribute to continuous improvement, and drive the adoption of new technologies such as Kubernetes, Go, Lua, and AI tooling across Linux-based environments. The role offers hybrid or remote work and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux-based systems.
• Proficient with Ansible, Terraform and IaC tooling.
• Experience in application monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix).
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes/public clouds.
• Server-side development in Lua and Go.
• Experience with AI tools and managing proxies.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable and high performing infrastructure using IaC practices.
• Solve complex challenges and maintain infrastructure with 60PB+ monthly data traffic.
• Implement monitoring solutions for infrastructure and business metrics.
• Own and defend architectural and technical decisions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of our technical infrastructure and practices.
• Bring new technology trends and roadmap adoption into the company.
