Job summary

Unravel is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a large-scale engineering transformation project for a leading German client. You will work with development teams to improve platform reliability, automation, deployment processes, and cloud infrastructure.

The role focuses on operational excellence, cloud-native solutions, and helping teams adopt modern DevOps and SRE practices. Fully remote within the EU with occasional travel to Nuremberg (5–6 days/year).

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on with Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Experience designing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and incident management.
• Experience supporting production environments and reliability.
• Familiar with cloud-native architectures and containerized workloads.
• Ability to work with development and architecture teams.
• German language (B2+) and good English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and automation solutions.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Support Kubernetes-based environments and cloud-native applications.
• Improve monitoring, observability, and reliability practices.
• Participate in incident response and problem solving.
