Job summary

HeadHR in Kraków, Poland is seeking a Senior DevOps/CI-CD Engineer to design, automate, and optimize deployment and testing pipelines for complex software products. You will own CI/CD, improve reliability and efficiency, and mentor others while promoting clean code and self-service deployment models.

Strong Linux, scripting, and networking skills are essential, along with experience with Git and Artifactory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional DevOps experience, focused on CI/CD and release engineering.
• Hands-on Ansible and infrastructure automation proficiency.
• Scripting in Python, Groovy, or Bash; strong Jenkins expertise.
• Linux administration skills, preferably Red Hat.
• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing.
• Experience with Git and Artifactory; ability to troubleshoot across systems.
• Strong English communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve automated deployment and testing.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and improve reliability and efficiency.
• Develop automation using Ansible, Python, Groovy, and Bash.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD, Linux, networking, and virtualized environments.
• Support Jenkins pipelines and deployment infrastructure.
• Review solutions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Promote clean code, maintainable automation, and best practices.
• Develop self-service deployment models for engineers.
