Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to develop, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure with a focus on GitLab, Terraform, Jenkins, AWS and Kubernetes/EKS.

You will lead Jenkins-to-GitLab migrations, build IaC, automate deployments, and collaborate with software, operations and cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable, secure delivery of microservices. Hybrid work in Poland, with remote options.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and other relevant tools.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Configure and manage AWS services.
• Deploy microservices to Kubernetes/EKS via GitLab CI/CD.
• Lead migration of Jenkins pipelines to GitLab with minimal disruption.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Stay updated on DevOps best practices and cloud trends.
• Ensure code is maintainable, scalable, and secure.
• Monitor system health and performance to maximize uptime.
• Develop, test, and maintain the CI/CD toolchain and pipeline.
• Collaborate with developers, operations, and cross-functional teams to meet timelines.
