Job summary

HeadHR in Kraków, Poland is seeking a Senior DevOps/CI-CD Engineer to design, automate, and optimize deployment and testing pipelines for complex software products. You will own CI/CD, improve reliability and efficiency, and mentor others while promoting clean code and self-service deployment models.

Strong Linux, scripting, and networking skills are essential, along with experience with Git and Artifactory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional DevOps experience, focused on CI/CD and release engineering.
• Hands-on Ansible and infrastructure automation proficiency.
• Scripting in Python, Groovy, or Bash; strong Jenkins expertise.
• Linux administration skills, preferably Red Hat.
• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing.
• Experience with Git and Artifactory; ability to troubleshoot across systems.

PROJECT

Join an engineering team responsible for building and maintaining automated deployment and testing processes for complex software products.

YOU WILL

• Design, build, and improve automated deployment and testing processes
• Take ownership of CI/CD pipelines and drive improvements in their reliability and efficiency
• Develop infrastructure and operational automation using Ansible, Python, Groovy, and Bash
• Troubleshoot complex issues across CI/CD, Linux, networking, and virtualized environments
• Support and improve Jenkins pipelines and deployment infrastructure
• Work with source control and artifact management tools such as Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, and Artifactory
• Diagnose networking issues related to TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and virtual networks
• Review technical solutions proposed by other engineering teams and provide senior-level technical input
• Drive improvements in automation, reliability, and engineering quality
• Promote clean code, maintainable automation, and DevOps best practices
• Support other engineers and contribute to developing self-service deployment models

MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, release engineering, or a similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible and infrastructure automation
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Groovy, and/or Bash
• Advanced hands-on experience with Jenkins, including pipeline development, troubleshooting, and CI/CD improvements
• Strong Linux skills, ideally including Red Hat environments
• Solid networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing
• Experience with Git and artifact management tools such as Artifactory
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues across multiple systems and technologies
• Experience reviewing technical solutions and contributing to architectural or platform-level decisions
• Strong focus on code quality, clean code, maintainability, and engineering best practices
• Strong English communication and cross-team collaboration skills

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with AWS, particularly operational support and EC2 automation
