Nord Security is seeking a Design Engineer to shape Aurora, our design system. You will build and evolve reusable UI components, bridging Figma and front-end implementation, while driving accessibility and consistency across teams.

You’ll own the technical implementation, contribute to visual language, and develop tooling to streamline design-to-code workflows. The role emphasizes collaboration, performance, and design fidelity.

Qualifications

• Design System expertise and scaling knowledge.
• Strong product design fundamentals and typography.
• Proficiency in Javascript, modern CSS (Tailwind), and semantic HTML.
• Fluent with Figma and design-to-code translation.
• Experience with Storybook.js for development and testing.
• Collaborative mindset across design, engineering, and product.
• Familiarity translating designs into high-quality code.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and evolve Aurora component kits (ReactKit, AstroKit, AppKit).
• Contribute to Aurora's visual language in Figma and code.
• Build internal design tooling (Figma plugins, CLI utilities, CI checks).
• Champion design automation and testing strategies (Storybook).
• Guide teams in adopting the Aurora design system.
• Bridge design and code with prototyping and interactive components.
• Craft animations and accessible, WCAG AA compliant components.
• Own architecture and performance of design system components.
