Adecco Poland Sp. z o.o. is recruiting for a global banking client as Senior Design Developer, acting as design and front-end technical lead for client portals. This hybrid role combines UX ownership with hands-on senior front-end leadership.

You will translate business requirements into validated prototypes, drive accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and mentor mid-level UI/UX developers while guiding architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• At least 8+ years hands-on React/TypeScript development and a strong UI/UX design portfolio.
• Expert-level proficiency in design/prototyping tools (e.g., Figma), including component libraries and design systems.
• Familiarity with containerized application environments (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift) and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Own the requirements-to-prototype pipeline: run discovery with business/product stakeholders, produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Define and enforce UI/UX standards, interaction patterns, and design system usage across all TA Portal applications.
• Architect and build key React/TypeScript front-end components and shared UI libraries, setting technical and design precedent for the team.
• Review pull requests and provide actionable feedback to mid-level developers on design fidelity and code quality.
• Partner with backend/API teams to ensure front-end designs are feasible within service and data constraints.
• Drive accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA) and responsive design across portal screens.
• Conduct usability testing/validation sessions and iterate designs based on user feedback and analytics.
• Mentor mid-level UI/UX developers on design thinking and React best practices.
• Participate in architecture/governance reviews as design owner for the portal.

About the project

Our requirements

• At least 8+ years hands-on React/TypeScript development and a strong UI/UX design portfolio
• Expert-level proficiency in design/prototyping tools (e.g., Figma), including component libraries and design systems
• Demonstrated experience translating designs into production-quality, responsive, accessible UI
• Familiarity with containerized application environments (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift) and modern CI/CD pipelines
• Strong stakeholder management - comfortable defending design decisions to both business and engineering audiences
• Experience reviewing code and providing technical/design feedback within a team setting

Optional

• Working knowledge of Java or .NET (for backend collaboration/awareness — not a core build requirement)
• Experience with Micro Frontend architectures (Module Federation, single-spa).
• Basic SQL/database knowledge
• Prior experience in financial services, fund administration, or transfer agency platforms
