Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking a Senior Design/Developer to lead design and front-end engineering for client-facing Portals in a hybrid Warsaw role. You will own the requirements-to-prototype process, govern design systems, and code alongside a mid-level team to deliver accessible, enterprise-grade portals.

The candidate translates ambiguous business needs into validated prototypes and leads a team to ship pixel-accurate UI. A strong UI/UX portfolio and deep React/TypeScript expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on React/TypeScript development with a strong UI/UX portfolio.
• Expert-level proficiency in design/prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) including design systems.
• Experience translating designs into production-quality, responsive UI.
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift) and modern CI/CD.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to defend design decisions.
• Experience reviewing code and providing feedback within a team.

Responsibilities

• Own requirements-to-prototype pipeline: wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Define and enforce UI/UX standards and design system usage across TA Portals.
• Architect and build React/TypeScript front-end components and shared UI libraries.
• Review pull requests and provide actionable feedback on design fidelity and code quality.
• Collaborate with backend/API teams to ensure feasible front-end designs.
• Drive WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility and responsive design across portal screens.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback and analytics.
• Mentor mid-level UI/UX developers on design thinking and React best practices.
• Participate in architecture/governance reviews as portal design owner.

We are seeking a Senior Design/Developer to act as the design and front-end technical lead for client facing Portals. This is a hybrid role combining UX ownership (requirements-to-prototype, design system governance) with hands-on senior front-end engineering leadership. The ideal candidate translates ambiguous business requirements into validated, high-fidelity prototypes, then leads (and codes alongside) the mid-level development team to deliver pixel-accurate, accessible, enterprise-grade portal experiences.

• Salary: Up to 190 PLN net+VAT/h (B2B) / Up to 22 350 PLN gross/month (Temp)

Requirements:

• At least 8+ years hands-on React/TypeScript development and a strong UI/UX design portfolio
• Expert-level proficiency in design/prototyping tools (e.g., Figma), including component libraries and design systems
• Demonstrated experience translating designs into production-quality, responsive, accessible UI
• Familiarity with containerized application environments (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift) and modern CI/CD pipelines
• Strong stakeholder management - comfortable defending design decisions to both business and engineering audiences
• Experience reviewing code and providing technical/design feedback within a team setting

Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of Java or .NET (for backend collaboration/awareness — not a core build requirement)
• Experience with Micro Frontend architectures (Module Federation, single-spa).
• Basic SQL/database knowledge
• Prior experience in financial services, fund administration, or transfer agency platforms

Responsibilities:

• Own the requirements-to-prototype pipeline: run discovery with business/product stakeholders, produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Define and enforce UI/UX standards, interaction patterns, and design system usage across all TA Portal applications
• Architect and build key React/TypeScript front-end components and shared UI libraries, setting technical and design precedent for the team
• Review pull requests and provide constructive, actionable feedback to mid-level developers on both design fidelity and code quality
• Partner with backend/API teams to ensure front-end designs are technically feasible within service and data constraints
• Drive accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA) and responsive design across all portal screens
• Conduct usability testing/validation sessions and iterate designs based on user feedback and analytics
• Mentor mid-level UI/UX developers on both design thinking and React best practices
• Participate in architecture/design governance reviews as design owner for the portal
