Job summary

Motorola Solutions Systems Polska Sp.z.o.o in Kraków is seeking an experienced Material Planner to support a North American customer base and coordinate planning to keep ship dates. The role requires working a second shift and collaborating with cross-functional teams across MSI's supply chain.

You will analyze demand, manage material allocation, and communicate any constraints to leadership while leveraging Oracle ERP and G-Suite tools to optimize delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain or similar.
• 3–5 years of experience in material planning or related fields.
• Experience with Oracle ERP and Google/G-Suite is a plus.
• Willingness to accommodate US working hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan material to drive shipsets/sales orders to First Scheduled Ship Date (FSSD) on time delivery.
• Identify revenue risks and communicate risk + recovery actions.
• Drive planning for material allocation decisions.
• Communicate constraints to Supply Chain leadership and Sales for orders and forecasts.
• Forecast delinquent backlog to improve FSSD performance.
• Balance tradeoffs between ocean and air deliveries.
• Use data analytics for efficient decision making.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning and Product teams to resolve long lead-time issues.

Operations/Supply Chain team that supports multiple sites within the MSI ecosystem. Strong team-oriented culture, dealing with supply chain activities from ordering to shipment. This role will support a North American customer base requiring the candidate to work second shift.

Job Description

What you will get to do:

• Plan material to Drive shipsets/sales orders to First Scheduled Ship Date (FSSD/on time delivery) while meeting customer request dates
• Understand revenue risks and be able to communicate risk & recovery actions
• Develop and Drive planning for material allocation decisions
• Proactively communicate any constraints to Supply Chain leadership and Sales for sales orders, large forecasted orders, general forecast and safety stocks
• Predict future delinquent backlog to identify actions to help drive improved FSSD performance
• Plan and ensure proper tradeoffs between ocean and air deliveries
• Use data analytics to ensure efficient decision making
• Collaborate with Supply Planning and Product teams to resolve issues for long lead-time, discontinued or problem products

Basic Requirements

What we expect:

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain or similar
• 3-5 years work experience related to Material Planning, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Distribution Planning, Operations, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Transportation or similar operational experience or employment within MSI.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP system and G-suite applications a plus.
• Availability to accommodate US working hours
