EPAM Systems in Kraków is seeking a Senior DBA Engineer to join a global team modernizing connectivity trading systems. You will administer SQL Server 2016+ environments and automate tasks with PowerShell while collaborating with stakeholders worldwide.

You will participate in on-call rotations including weekends, focus on performance tuning, backups, disaster recovery, and incident handovers, with opportunities for remote work within Poland.

Formación

• Must have 5–10 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2016+ administration and support.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server Administration.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.

Responsabilidades

• Administrate, maintain, and support SQL Server 2016+ environments.
• Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database, server, and infrastructure issues.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.
• Perform backup, recovery, patching, and maintenance activities.
• Support production environments on a rotation, including weekends.
• Collaborate with teams during incidents, releases, and handovers.
• Work with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders globally.
