Responsibilities

• Manage relational and NoSQL DBMS across product lifecycle environments, from development to mission‑critical production systems.
• Configure and maintain database servers and load balancers, monitoring system health and performance to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Participate in on‑call incident escalations, analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing end‑to‑end problem resolution.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience supporting and optimizing high‑load, highly‑available MySQL databases in production environments.
• Experience with ProxySQL and Orchestrator.
• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially GCP.
• Experience managing and provisioning databases using IaC and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python for task automation and operational workflows.

Would be a big plus:

• Experience with Debezium or Kafka.
• Experience with SaltStack.
• Experience with ScyllaDB and Aerospike.
• Experience with Java application stack (Spring, Hibernate).
• Intermediate English proficiency.
