Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree in computer science or a related field.
5+ years in distributed systems, Linux networking, and common protocols.
3+ years in DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet.
3+ years in Observability and security tools like Prometheus and DataDog.
Experience with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) and design principles.
Proficient in bash, SQL, and REST API design; capable of troubleshooting production issues.

Responsibilities

Design and implement highly available, scalable, and performant solutions.
Integrate and improve data streaming services on Akamai Platform for performance analytics.
Develop DevOps tools to streamline software delivery and operations.
Build monitoring and observability pipelines for streaming data.
Automate operational tasks to minimize manual intervention.
