Job summary

BELVEDERE in Krakow is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design and develop the Python ecosystem that underpins its machine learning capabilities. You will create high-quality Python packages, implement testing, and enhance CI/CD to support scalable ML workflows.

The role combines software engineering rigor with data science expertise, including GPU-accelerated workloads and speech technology projects. Hybrid 6-month contract in Krakow.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in data science, software engineering or related fields.
• Deep understanding of the Python ecosystem and its libraries.
• Strong experience building and maintaining Python packages.
• Hands-on experience with software testing practices including unit and integration testing.
• Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch.
• Understanding of GPU-accelerated workloads and computational optimisation.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and orchestration.
• Knowledge of observability practices for monitoring and debugging.
• Exposure to speech technologies or similar specialised ML applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality Python libraries for machine learning applications
