Job description

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa (1-2 days per week from the office)

We're seeking a Senior Data Scientist / ML to join our client's team. The client is looking for a specialist to increase IT stability by identifying, quantifying, and mitigating IT risks using advanced analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI. The role focuses on automating root cause analysis, predictive risk detection, and fully automated self-reporting solutions to reduce incident recurrence and MTRS. The work is delivered within the SAFe Insights Agile Release Train using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, contributing to a future-ready analytics service.

Your responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining solutions in Power BI Service / Microsoft Fabric
• Co-creating novel ideas with our stakeholders
• Co-building a future Insights Data Analytics service
• Working with hypothesis to prove or reject business statements
• Hypothesis testing and designing statistical models
• Building advanced reports/dashboards
• Analysing, processing and modelling data, interpret the results to create actionable insights
• Ensuring complete collection and quality of data while adhering to best data practices
• Working within SAFe Scrum Team with the aligned autonomy.

Our requirements

• Proven work experience with minimum 2-3 years in similar role
• Strong experience in statistics, Python, T-SQL, Power Query, DAX, MS Power BI / MS Power Platform, GIT
• Professional experience using Python for ML and data wrangling
• Experience in one or more Business Intelligence tool as MS Power BI (preferred)
• Deep knowledge of statistical techniques for descriptive and predictive analytics
• Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources
• Using machine learning tools to select features, create and optimize classifiers
• Excellent presentation skills
• ITIL Foundation certified or proven work experience in IT Service Management
• Lean-Agile trained or certified (Scrum or SAFe)
• Fluency in English is a must
