Job summary

your Jared is seeking a Senior Data Scientist (Freelance) for 100% remote work with CET hours in Poland. The role involves developing, testing, and deploying forecasting and optimization models across the full production lifecycle, from monitoring to performance tuning.

You will scale models to optimize inventory, improve availability, and reduce delivery latency while collaborating with product, engineering, and design teams. Start ASAP, with a contract until end of 2026 and potential extension.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing robust end-to-end data workflows.
• At least 4 years of experience in forecasting techniques.
• Expert level in Python, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
• Deep operational knowledge of AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their use in mission-critical systems.
• Experience with neural networks and full model lifecycle management including drift detection and rollback strategies.
• C1 level written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of forecasting algorithms and optimization models (development to deployment).
• Model monitoring, incident response, and performance tuning.
• Scale forecasting models to improve inventory replenishment, availability, and delivery latency.
• Work in cross-functional teams (product, engineering, design).
• Influence system architecture and align model integration with platform design.
