Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or capital markets with a focus on data controls, governance, and analytics.
• Engineering degree with a postgraduate in Finance preferred.
• Deep understanding of derivative products or SFTs and knowledge of regulatory data governance policies.

Responsibilities

• Derivatives & SFT data flow analysis: map end-to-end data flows and gap assess for target-state adoption.
• Variance analysis & automation: perform daily variance attribution and design dashboards to automate reporting.
• Regulatory reporting & strategic sourcing: assess data flows for regulatory reports and identify strategic data sources.
• Business coordination & data standards: work with stakeholders to define data standards and prioritize remediation of data issues.
• Data governance & controls: design and implement data quality rules, reconciliation, and lineage tracking.
• Process automation & system solutions: develop systematic solutions to eliminate manual steps and drive automation.
• Requirements & testing: prepare detailed functional specifications and perform testing and data validation.
