WPP is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to advance our data capabilities across global platforms. You will design and maintain pipelines, models, warehouses and data lakes, enabling analytics, reporting and ML solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Strong SQL and Python coding skills with experience on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Solid understanding of data modelling, pipelines and orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, or similar).
• Familiarity with modern data ecosystems such as Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift.
• Experience with CI/CD, version control and testing best practices.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex concepts clearly.
• A proactive mindset and passion for data-driven decision making in marketing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and manage end to end data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Develop and maintain data models, warehouses and data lakes for analytics and ML.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists and product teams to solve problems.
• Build data governance and quality frameworks for accurate output.
• Drive automation, monitoring, performance and scalability improvements.
• Contribute to long-term architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers.
• Stay curious and explore new tools and techniques to move faster.
