Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data & AI team on the Ahold account. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions that enable advanced analytics, ML, and BI initiatives.

You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, high-quality data delivery that drives value and timely data products. You will lead design and implementation of data platform components, mentor teammates, and promote best practices

Qualifications

• Extensive expertise in the Azure Data Platform and Databricks for data engineering tasks.
• Proficiency in Python within an SDLC with a DevOps mindset.
• Experience building batch and streaming data pipelines with Spark or PySpark.
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python or C#.
• Familiarity with Delta, Iceberg, and Parquet formats; Data Vault and Kimball modeling.
• Knowledge of Synapse, Hive and Azure analytics services; security and cost awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and optimize code for data products.
• Design, implement, and enhance product features.
• Ensure software functionality and performance.
