Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric to join our Data & Analytics Competence Center, a unit that brings together top experts in data engineering, processing, analytics, and cloud technologies in Poland.

You will design and build modern data platforms on Azure, integrate enterprise data sources, implement ETL/ELT, optimize models for reporting and analytics, enforce security, and mentor junior engineers while staying current with Azure best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain data solutions on an enterprise-level platform to ensure data availability for reporting, applications, and analytics.
• Work with structured data including financial, manufacturing, procurement, sales & marketing, pricing, and more.
• Design and implement scalable, secure data solutions on Azure using Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks, ETL/ELT processes.
• Create and maintain data models and schemas to support business needs.
• Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance across the Azure architecture.
• Provide ongoing support for data-related issues and troubleshoot problems promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data solutions aligning with business goals.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.
