Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric to join its Data & Analytics Competence Center in Rzeszów. You will design and build modern data platforms, integrate enterprise sources, and enable advanced analytics and reporting.

The role focuses on Azure-based data solutions, including Data Lake, Databricks, ETL/ELT, and security/compliance. You will mentor junior engineers, work with cross-functional teams, and stay current with Azure technologies.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Azure data engineering and data platform.
• Proven track record delivering Microsoft Fabric projects.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
• Experience with Azure DWH, Data Factory, Data Lake, and Databricks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Security, networking, and identity management in Azure.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Residing in Poland and fluent in Polish.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain data solutions on an enterprise-level platform designed to ensure consistent data availability for reporting, application, and analytical use cases
• Work primarily with structured data across finance, manufacturing, procurement, sales & marketing, pricing
• Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure data solutions on Azure using Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks, ETL/ELT
• Create and maintain efficient data models and schemas
• Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability and cost-efficiency
• Ensure security best practices and compliance across the Azure architecture
• Provide ongoing support for data-related issues and troubleshoot problems promptly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals
• Mentor and guide junior engineers
• Stay up to date with Azure technologies and best practices
