Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer specialized in Microsoft Fabric to join our Data & Analytics Competence Center in Wroclaw. You will design and build modern data platforms, integrate enterprise data sources, and enable advanced analytics and reporting.

In this role you will work with Azure services including Data Factory, Data Lake, PySpark and SQL, implementing scalable data solutions, ensuring security and cost efficiency, mentoring junior engineers, and staying current with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
≥5 years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platform.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.
Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Azure DWH, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, etc.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and serverless computing in Azure.
Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, ARM templates, or similar tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Fluent Polish required
Residing in Poland required

Responsibilities

Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise data solutions on Azure.
Work with structured data across finance, manufacturing, procurement, sales and marketing.
Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure data solutions on Azure using Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks, ETL/ELT.
Create and maintain efficient data models and schemas.
Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Ensure security best practices and compliance across Azure architecture.
Provide ongoing support for data-related issues and troubleshoot problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Stay up to date with latest Azure technologies and best practices.
