Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics Competence Center. You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise data platforms on Microsoft Fabric, leveraging Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, and Databricks to enable advanced analytics and reporting.

You will work with Python and SQL on structured data across finance, manufacturing, and procurement, ensure security and cost efficiency, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platform.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Azure DWH, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, etc.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and serverless computing in Azure.
• Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, ARM templates, or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent Polish required.
• Residing in Poland required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain data solutions on an enterprise-level platform.
• Work with structured data across financials, manufacturing, procurement, sales & marketing.
• Design and implement scalable, robust data solutions on Azure using Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks, ETL/ELT.
• Create and maintain efficient data models and schemas.
• Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance across Azure architecture.
• Provide ongoing support for data-related issues and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative learning.
• Stay updated with Azure technologies and best practices.
