Job summary

GFT Poland is seeking a skilled data/quant developer to join the AI Markets analytics platform. You will design and optimize data processing, develop APIs, and work with traders, quants, and product owners to deliver low-latency solutions.

The role emphasizes building scalable data pipelines on time-series technology, supporting analytics, reporting, and AI-driven use cases while maintaining strong operational risk controls and proper data governance.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale datasets in production.
• Proven ability to optimize high-volume, low-latency data processing.
• Experience with data engineering and distributed data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Scripting in Python or Bash.
• Git and version control practices; CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of secure coding and data protection.
• Trading domain knowledge in FX, Rates, or Equities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize KDB+ processes for low-latency environments.
• Build analytics and aggregation layers for APIs and AI/ML models.
• Expose data and analytics through APIs for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with AI and data teams to provide structured datasets.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and capacity management.
• Ensure resilience, failover, disaster recovery for critical services.
• Translate business requirements with traders, quants, and product owners.
• Maintain compliance with operational risk and data governance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
• Support continuous improvement of platform capabilities and performance.
