GFT TECHNOLOGIES SE in Kraków, Poland is seeking a data-focused engineer to join the AI Markets development team. You will design and optimize data processing, develop APIs and analytics capabilities, and collaborate with traders, quants, and product owners to deliver scalable, low-latency solutions.

The role requires strong experience with KDB+ and high-volume data processing, plus Unix/Linux, scripting (Python/Bash), and CI/CD practices. Hybrid work is offered in Kraków.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and optimizing data processing for high-volume, low-latency environments.
• Proven ability to develop APIs and analytics capabilities for trading-related platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and scripting (Python or Bash).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize KDB+ processes for low-latency workloads.
• Build analytics layers for APIs and AI/ML models.
• Expose data through APIs and services for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with traders and quants to translate requirements.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and capacity management.
• Ensure resilience, failover, and DR strategies.
• Participate in code reviews and establish coding standards.
• Work with data engineering teams on scalable datasets.
