Job summary

Nordea seeks an IT Developer/Data Engineer to advance data engineering for Capital and Credit Data Foundation. The role focuses on building scalable ELT/ETL pipelines, optimizing SQL/PLSQL, and implementing CI/CD for data infrastructure.

Work spans on-prem and cloud in a hybrid environment across Poland and Finland. You will collaborate with data engineers, architects, Scrum Masters, and product managers to modernize the data stack while ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in computer engineering or related field.
• Proficient in OLAP design and Snowflake-based data models.
• Strong SQL and PLSQL skills, with performance tuning experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL for high performance in Snowflake and Oracle.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure and workflow automation.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows and infrastructure performance.
• Ensure data quality, governance and compliance with best practices.
