Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead data engineering within a BI-focused team in Warsaw. You will own data pipelines, models, and transformations to support Power BI reporting, collaborating with BI developers and architects.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, and experience with Azure Data Factory or Airflow, and requires 2 days per week in the Warsaw office. Remote work from Poland is allowed.

Qualifications

• Senior level data engineering experience with advanced SQL and data modeling.
• Hands-on Python development for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Azure data services including Data Factory and/or Airflow.
• Strong Power BI understanding and reporting familiarity.
• Excellent problem-solving and end-to-end troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical ownership and leadership across data engineering activities.
• Design, build, and improve data pipelines, transformations, and data models.
• Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve performance and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end data and reporting issues from source to outputs.
• Guide BI developers and collaborate with architects and stakeholders.
• Deliver reliable, maintainable data pipelines and well-documented recommendations.
